Support A Sister
AWITA's mission has always been to support female ambition - opening up access to networks, knowledge and opportunities that help create the conditions for women to rise, thrive and lead.
We know that the cost of membership can be a barrier for some of the people who would benefit most from being part of AWITA. Alongside our annual Sponsored Membership programme, which is supported by partner organisations and awarded through an open call, Support a Sister provides a year-round way for individuals to fund an AWITA membership for someone who may not otherwise be able to join.
A donation of £250 supports one year of AWITA membership.
How it works:
Rather than asking patrons to select an individual themselves, AWITA maintains a rolling Support a Sister waiting list. Applicants meet our usual membership criteria and have told us that cost is currently preventing them from joining. This allows us to allocate support consistently and fairly.
Donations to Support a Sister are allocated through this waiting list. If you would instead like to gift a membership to a particular individual, please contact the team at membership@awita.london.
