NXT GEN is responding to a wider shift in arts education. Over the past decade, the number of students in the UK studying History of Art has dropped by 28.5%, with arts subjects seeing a 47% decline at GCSE and 29% at A-level since 2010. Today, fewer than eight state schools offer History of Art at A-level.
NXT GEN addresses this challenge by providing early-career professionals with knowledge, community, and practical opportunities.
By joining NXT GEN, members become part of a generation working to build a more inclusive, transparent, and sustainable art world.
Membership is £120 for the year or £12 per month the same price as 2 coffees
