Founded in London in 2016, AWITA is an international membership network for women working in the visual arts, created to address structural gender imbalance across the industry.

With membership hubs in London and Switzerland, alongside international access, AWITA brings together a global community shaping the future of the visual arts.

AWITA membership is open to women with five or more years’ professional experience in the visual arts. NXT GEN, AWITA’s gender-inclusive membership for emerging professionals.
