INDUSTRY VS ART - WHERE DO THEY INTERSECT?!

Find out where art is produced and what the relationship is between culture and industry in a guided tour and group conversation with Sara Thorsen, curator, studio director, and writer.
This takes place on occasion of Manufactory, a new festival opening up Park Royal’s industrial spaces to the public for one weekend only, bringing together artists, designers, makers and manufacturers to explore how things are made - the perfect setting to learn about the relationship art has to industry!
FYI Park Royal produces ⅓ of London’s food and is home to 400+ creative practitioners
NXT STEPS: NXT GEN X CREATIVE FREEDOMS
Saturday 26th September 10:30 am - 12:30 am | Frieze Sculpture Park
Join us for a morning of walking, talking and meeting other emerging and self-employed art professionals. We’ll explore the work at Frieze Sculpture Park, with plenty of time to chat to people you might not otherwise meet.
How it works:
We meet and split into small groups. We either manually group people together or just encourage attendees to meet someone new. Halfway through we can suggest a swap
30-45 min walk and then whoever would like to continue can walk to the Broadwalk Cafe (in the park) for a coffee/ further networking.

A NEW FAIR: PARAÍSO
Saturday 17th October 14:30 pm - 16:30 pm | Ambika P
The inaugural Paraíso Latin American art fair arrives at a moment of striking convergence: major institutional exhibitions; a new commercial gallery dedicated to art from the region; growing collector attention and renewed interest in artists and histories from Latin America.
We’re very lucky to have tickets (FREE) and an hour with Jane Soliman and Daniela Galan, who will give us a special briefing about the fair and help situate what we’re seeing within the wider London art world.
There'll be time to explore the fair and attend the 3:30pm artists talk.
