Maureen Paley Award

AWITA presents The Maureen Paley Award, a biennial award for women and non-binary professionals working in the visual arts at a formative point in their careers.

The award offers sustained, direct engagement with Maureen Paley providing rare access to her experience, judgement and approach to building and leading one of the UK’s most influential contemporary galleries.

Recipients receive an AWITA membership, a guided exhibition walkthrough with Maureen at the gallery - offering insight into her decision-making and the ideas that shape programming - as well as an informal lunch.
