Speakers

Sarah Briggs is the International Head of Strategic Marketing at Phillips, where she leads marketing strategy and oversees global initiatives that increase audiences and enhance the auction house’s international profile. Before joining Phillips, she was Senior Director of Marketing at Hauser & Wirth, driving high-impact campaigns across global markets. Her previous roles include Global Marketing Director (EMERI) at Christie’s and Senior Marketing Manager at Tate Modern. With a strong track record of leadership in the global art and culture sector, Sarah brings a deep understanding of the art world, blending strategic insight with creative vision to shape and grow influential international brands.

Chloe Spriggs is Co-founder of The Arts Collective, a digital-focused and results-driven marketing consultancy for arts organisations, enabling them to grow. Formerly Global Marketing Director at Sotheby’s and Marketing Director at Lisson Gallery, Chloe’s experience spans Art and Luxury. Throughout her career, Chloe has developed performance-driven integrated marketing campaigns, fostered strategic and meaningful partnerships and collaborations and delivered best-in-class digital experiences. Chloe is also currently Non-Executive Director at Pangaea Sculptors' Centre and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).

Sarah Miller, Founder and CEO of Sarah Miller & Partners, is well connected in the hospitality sector - hotels, restaurants and the world of luxury in general, as well as in the sectors of visual arts, film, fashion, architecture and design. She was the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Condé Nast Traveller UK, which she ran for 15 years before launching Condé Nast Traveller in India and China. On leaving Condé Nast after 17 years she was appointed European Editor of Travel + Leisure. She is currently Luxury Brand Ambassador of The Wall Street Journal. Sarah was a governor of the Royal College of Arts for 15 years and is now an Honorary Fellow. She is also a Trustee of the Whitechapel Gallery. She has had a career in journalism which spans helping to found Blueprint, the leading architecture and design magazine; editing arts and design for Elle, being Assistant Editor of The Sunday Times (launching Style magazine) and Associate Editor and Arts Editor of the Daily Telegraph. Based in London, she has worked extensively with opinion formers from around the globe and has an extremely influential and pertinent network of contacts. She has won Editor of the Year seven times. She is married to the Director Emeritus of London’s Design Museum. 

Ann-Marie Ekuban began her communications career in Christie’s EMEA Press Office, having earned a BA in International Media & Communications during the uncertain years of the Covid-19 pandemic. Her studies focused on cultural policies and production, specifically investigating African, Afro-diasporic and broader international relations. Since graduating, she has led and contributed to various projects that emphasise the importance of collaboration and creative communication in an increasingly digital and globalised world. With expertise spanning project management, strategic messaging, and cross-cultural engagement, Ann-Marie has worked independently since 2023, developing bespoke communications solutions across the art and cultural industries from museum development communications to e-commerce brand strategy. She supports a broad range of creative enterprises and entrepreneurs, both established players such as Art Dubai, and emerging independent creatives. An advocate for alternative career pathways and passionate about early-career development, she is also a co-founder of the recently launched Creative Freedoms Collective, a new community and network supporting career development and collaboration for all stages of self-employed professionals in the visual arts. Ann-Marie brings this wealth of cross-sector experience and enthusiasm for creative collaboration to facilitate a meaningful industry dialogue on the future of marketing in the art world.
