Sponsored Membership Programme

Supported by Hauser & Wirth, MarGin Gin and DRAW Recruitment

AWITA strives to support the talent pipeline through professional development, mentoring and networking. Fifteen sponsored memberships are available annually to encourage the widening participation and diversity of the AWITA community. We especially welcome applications from arts professionals who identify with communities which are underrepresented in our industry.

Sponsored members will be offered guided sessions and support to make the most of the AWITA network. A mentor will work with them over the course of their membership and we are delighted to be supported on this by Cat Manson, an expert communications Consultant, Advisor, Executive Coach and Founder of Art Market Mentors.

Applications are now closed. We will be in touch with all applicants by the middle of November.

"Art is supposed to represent life, therefore I think it'd be great to see more of that reflected both in the types of artists that are platformed, but also across the people working in the industry.”

- Madga Kaggwa Communications and Projects Manager at Yinka Shonibare Foundation and AWITA Sponsored Member 2021-2023
